Eye of the Abyss(https://eye-of-the-abyss.gamestrategists.com)
发布者是独立开发者 alphaBETA DEV(GameStrategists),一个人,不是公司。
Cookie |
|---|---|---|
/(游戏首页,三轮各等 7 秒) | 本站、pagead2.googlesyndication.com(三轮各 1 次)、static.cloudflareinsights.com(三轮各 1 次);googleads.g.doubleclick.net 三轮里出现两轮、ep1.adtrafficquality.google 出现一轮。 | 本站自己三轮都没下发任何 Cookie(document.cookie 三轮皆空)。浏览器里能看到的只有广告侧那条 test_cookie@.doubleclick.net。 |
/terms(本页)、/privacy、/about、/contact、/disclaimer | 只有两个主机:本站与 static.cloudflareinsights.com。
条款本身有疑问,写信到 contact@gamestrategists.com;涉及个人信息的走 privacy@gamestrategists.com,以 隐私政策 那一份为准。
Eye of the Abyss (https://eye-of-the-abyss.gamestrategists.com)
This subdomain holds one thing: the browser copy of Eye of the Abyss. Lin Mo, a psychiatrist, goes back to the Hechuan Workers’ Sanatorium after an anonymous patient called Shen Yuan sends a letter saying he is being watched by another version of himself. Counting the registry in src/data gives you what you can actually reach: 9 acts (Prologue: The Letter, chapters one to seven, and Finale: Looking Back), 24 sites (the sanatorium, Shen Yuan’s blog, the Hechuan town forum, Xinyuan, the Undercurrent, surveillance, medical files, research, the missing list, acoustics, the diary, session assessments, blueprints, families, anomalies, the abyss, tapes, treatment, chemicals, patient zero, frequencies, the timeline), 120 archive pages sitting underneath them, 42 clues, 15 puzzles (all fifteen answered in text), 17 emails, 8 unfiled session recordings, and 4 endings: Sealed, Published, The Double, and Looking Back — the last one only opens once all 42 clues are in. It is published by alphaBETA DEV (GameStrategists): one person, not a company.
Two things are outside this page. First, the pages on gamestrategists.com — the profile for this game, the guides, the changelog — have their own terms; where the two disagree, the subdomain you are actually playing wins. Second, there is no second distribution channel: outside a browser you cannot get it. Three other titles in this project (Dajin, Room 404, Xiaoqi) do have offline installers on the Microsoft Store; Eye of the Abyss is not one of them, so questions an app store would own — installation, refunds, content rating — are not this page’s to answer.
Nothing here costs money: no registration, no purchases, no paid chapters, no payment method to bind. With no money coming in there is nothing to refund — “was it worth reaching the ending” is not a dispute this site can settle, because nobody can hand you money back or undo an ending you already chose.
Domain and hosting do cost something, and the plan is to cover that with revenue from the Google AdSense script the pages load. One ad script is loaded by the game’s own HTML page (three sampled loads on 2 November 2026: one script each time), while the slot the site would have placed inside the game screen is switched off before mounting — ADS_ENABLED = false in src/components/AdBanner.vue — so no ad frame placed by us appears on screen. Measured the same day with a real browser: three cold-profile loads of the game page showed 0 boxes containing the word “广告”/“Ads” and 0 ad containers whose bounding box has area — three candidate nodes per load, each 0×0; three further loads after entering the game showed 3 to 5 such nodes and still 0 with area. Most of them are the loader’s own standby containers: invisible on screen and not slots we placed. Which ad runs is the network’s decision — we neither see it nor choose it. How ads select you, and how to turn personalisation off, is in the privacy policy; that is the document that governs it.
One distinction matters: the ad script is only in the game page’s HTML, not in the explainer pages. On 2 November 2026 both kinds of page were opened several times and every outbound request recorded; they are not one table —
| Page | Hosts seen | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
/ (the game, three loads, 7 s each) | Host, pagead2.googlesyndication.com (once per load), static.cloudflareinsights.com (once per load); googleads.g.doubleclick.net in two of three loads, ep1.adtrafficquality.google in one. The ad chain gets to a different depth each time, so we count per endpoint instead of writing “every time”. | The site set no cookie at all — document.cookie was empty on all three loads. The only thing visible in the browser is the ad-side test_cookie@.doubleclick.net. |
/terms (this page), /privacy, /about, /contact, /disclaimer | Two hosts only: the site itself and static.cloudflareinsights.com. The ad endpoints above appeared 0 times across five readings. | None. |
That Cloudflare beacon is injected by the hosting platform into every HTML response and reports aggregate traffic and performance. Every number below on this page comes from readings like these, or from this repository’s data files — not from copying another document.
The first time you open the game you meet an entry notice: cover art, a short description, and a confirmation you have to tick yourself. That tick box is real, not decoration — measured on 2 November 2026 at 1280 and at 390 pixels, two rounds each, same result: the checkbox is visible and unticked by default, and the button labelled “进入游戏→” (Enter) is disabled until you tick it; after ticking, it becomes clickable. In this game you cannot reach the title screen without getting past that notice.
What the notice says is not boilerplate: the game contains flashing and cut-in imagery, so people with photosensitive epilepsy or lower tolerance should be careful; headphones are recommended because sound carries clues (the mute switch in the corner controls the ambience); the sanatorium, the Hechuan forum, Xinyuan Smelter, the archive layouts and that 2003 duty roster — including the line at the top of the fake browser that looks like a domain — are props drawn by the game. They imitate real institutions and real paperwork so that you make choices inside that kind of interface; they represent no real organisation, person or event. This is a fictional interactive narrative: the mother’s death and the “other self” living your life are story.
Once the notice is closed, the title screen’s buttons tell you whether this device has progress: with no save there is a single “Start investigation”; with a save there are two — “Continue” on top and “Restart” below (both states measured). Search, reading the archives, submitting answers and taking notes all compute on your device: the deployment is static pages only (the worker in this repository does one thing — hand the request to the static assets, and there is no other network call in the game code), and over three recorded rounds of starting and browsing, the only non-GET request was the hosting platform’s own analytics beacon, POST /cdn-cgi/rum, once per round.
There is no account here and no path that uploads your progress; all state lives in localStorage on this browser. The key names and shapes are in the privacy policy, so this page keeps only the two things that bear on permission:
localStorage is the one recording that you saw the notice. After pressing “Start investigation” a save exists immediately (eye-of-the-abyss-save, 794 bytes measured, top level version, timestamp and gameState; gameState holds exactly 9 fields — current site, current page, current act, clues found, emails read, puzzles solved, sites unlocked, notes, in-game time). Back on the title screen, pressing “Restart” does not make that key disappear — the same record is replaced with a fresh start (measured: key still there, act back to 0, one clue left). The difference from “deleted” is that you do not get the first-run notice again, and language and mute keep their own keys, untouched by Restart.Whether finishing a game adds one more local record (the completion card), and which button the screen offers when a save file is corrupt, are both written in the privacy policy and governed by it; this page does not restate them. The same fact living on two pages is exactly the defect family that bit the main site these past two weeks.
The intellectual-property rule is the one this site has always stated; nothing is added and nothing withdrawn: unless noted otherwise, the text, images, code, game design and story belong to alphaBETA DEV (GameStrategists). They may not be copied, modified or redistributed without written permission. To use any of it somewhere else, write to contact@gamestrategists.com and say what for and how you intend to credit it.
robots.txt allows User-agent: *, contains no Disallow line, and separately names nine AI and generative-retrieval crawlers (Google-Extended, GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, CCBot, Omgilibot, PerplexityBot, Applebot-Extended), plus this site’s own sitemap. A previous version of this page told crawlers not to take the site in bulk with search engines exempt — that contradicted the robots.txt on the same domain (measured 2 November 2026: 10 User-agent lines, 0 Disallow, 9 named), so this version states the rule above instead. Naming those crawlers so people can find the game, and letting a summary quote it, is not a licence to pull the whole corpus into a parallel site — that stays under redistribution above, and needs asking. This is a side-project maintained by one person: no service-level promise, no guarantee it is always reachable, and no guarantee that an accepted answer stays fixed. The 15 puzzle answers are normalised at the moment you submit them (trimmed, lower-cased, full-width digits, letters and punctuation folded to half-width, Chinese enumeration commas and full stops mapped to their ASCII equivalents, spaces around separators removed — see normalizeAnswer() in src/data/puzzles.js) so that a correct answer does not get locked out. If we later correct an accepted value or re-order an act, guides already published will no longer match the game as it then is. When that happens the change gets recorded, and if we were wrong we say so and correct it — those two are the promises; do not expect a third one from a free personal project.
Everything about this game is recorded in the main site’s changelog, each entry carrying its own date, newest first. This page deliberately does not quote the entry count: that number moves with every entry written, and pinning “N entries” here schedules a lie for the next day. When the text of this page genuinely changes, the “Last updated” line above follows it — taken from the date this page’s body was last changed in version control, not written by hand off an editorial calendar.
We accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of this site; the content is for entertainment and reference and is not professional advice. One point deserves its own sentence: the protagonist is a psychiatrist, and the plot contains diagnoses, treatment and case notes — the “assessments” and “diagnoses” on your screen are story text, not medical, psychological or legal advice. If you or someone you know needs help in real life, please contact an actual professional service.
Terms change, and there is one way they change: this page gets updated and the date above is replaced. The only interaction in this game that bears on the terms is that entry confirmation — it asks whether you have seen the notice, not whether you consent to these terms; ticking or not ticking changes nothing about this page’s effect, except that without ticking you cannot reach the title screen (measured in the third section above). So read “continued use means acceptance of the updated terms” literally: keep using it and we take that as acceptance; if you do not accept, close the page. The game will not block you for never having read the terms, and it will never tick anything on your behalf.
Questions about the terms: contact@gamestrategists.com. Anything about personal data goes to privacy@gamestrategists.com and is governed by the privacy policy. Replies are written by a person; for how long that takes, this site defers to the sentence on the contact page, and this page deliberately quotes no number, so that two pages cannot promise different response times.
